The USB interface follows the modern USB-Type-C standard and can already be found in many current mobile devices or desktop PCs. For musical applications we have integrated USB-MIDI into the VARIO. And more: mobile devices also supply you with power via USB-C!
❶ USB-C to USB-A + Camera Connection Kit with Apple-Lightning
The following devices can be connected via Lightning cable + Camera Connection Kit for wired MIDI functions:
- iPad mini (5. gen.)
- iPad Air (3rd gen.)
- iPad (5. gen. 2017)
- iPhone (from iPhone 6S, 2015)
- iPod touch (7. gen.)
❷ Apple Lightning (without Camera Connection Kit)
The following devices can be connected via Lightning cable. This allows you to charge the battery of your device.
